Venue and Seating Information

Freight & Salvage is a premier music venue located in the heart of San Francisco, known for its intimate setting and superb acoustics, ideal for World music performances. The venue has a seating capacity that allows for close interaction between the performers and the audience, enhancing the overall concert experience. Guests can expect an immersive atmosphere where the music takes center stage.

For optimal viewing, the best sections are typically the front rows, where sound clarity and visibility are at their peak. These areas allow audiences to engage fully with the performers. Conversely, seats located at the rear of the venue may offer a more distant experience, leading to a disconnect from the energy of the show. However, there are several sections that provide reasonable views and sound quality, making them suitable for concert-goers who are seeking a less premium experience.

Parking Information

Parking in San Francisco can be a challenge, especially on event nights. However, there are a few options available for attendees of the upcoming Solas concert at Freight & Salvage:

• Freight & Salvage Lot - 2020 Addison St, Berkeley, CA 94704 - $15
• Downtown Berkeley BART Parking - 2200 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704 - $3.50 per hour

The Freight & Salvage Lot is highly recommended as it provides convenient access to the venue for $15, making it the best choice for parking on concert nights. In contrast, attendees should avoid the areas around Telegraph Avenue during peak hours, as they tend to be heavily congested, resulting in limited parking options and an increased risk of parking tickets.
